Parent portal
Portal rules
The portal shows photos of other families' children, not only yours. These rules keep every child safe. You agree to them when you activate your account.
Effective date: [TODO: set at launch]
This is a plain-language draft written by the web studio. It is not legal advice. Before launch, the owner's attorney or insurer must review it in both languages, confirm that each rule is one she wants to enforce, and set the effective date.
The rules in short
- One account for each adult. Never share your login.
- Keep your password private. Lety will never ask for it.
- What you see in the portal stays in the portal: no screenshots, no forwarding, no social media.
- The portal is for reading. For questions, call Lety.
- Access ends the day your child's enrollment ends.
The rules in full
Who may use the portal
Parents and guardians of a child enrolled at Colores de Esperanza, once Lety invites them. Nobody can sign up alone.
Each adult gets their own account. If another adult in your family needs access, ask Lety to invite them. Being on the pickup list does not come with portal access.
When you activate your account, you tick a box to say you have read these rules. The portal records the date.
Your account and password
- Your account is for you alone. Do not give your email and password to anyone, not even family.
- Choose a password you do not use anywhere else.
- Lety cannot see your password and will never ask for it, by phone, text or email. If anyone asks, do not give it.
- If Lety gives you a printed setup card, keep it private, like a key. Its code works only once.
- If you think someone else knows your password, change it from the sign-in page and tell Lety.
- Sign out when you use someone else's phone or computer.
Photos and posts stay in the portal
The photos show other families' children as well as yours. Their parents trusted Lety, and every family in the portal, with those pictures. So:
- Do not take screenshots or photos of the screen, and do not save the pictures.
- Do not forward, text or email them, or share them in WhatsApp or any other group chat.
- Do not post them on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or any other social media.
- Do not print them or pass them on in any other way.
The same goes for posts and documents. They are for enrolled families.
Would you like a copy of a photo of your own child? Ask Lety.
If you see a portal photo anywhere outside the portal, tell Lety right away.
The portal is for reading
There are no comments, likes or messages. For questions, or to talk about your child, call Lety or talk to her at drop-off or pickup.
The portal's pages and the menu are in both languages. Each post in Updates appears in the language it was written in, with a label that says which.
Photos are deleted after 12 months
Each photo is deleted automatically 12 months after it is posted. The text of the post stays.
The photo release
A child appears in portal photos only if their family signed the portal photo release. Signing it is your choice.
You can withdraw it at any time. Tell Lety. She removes the photos of your child from the portal and leaves your child out of new ones. You keep your portal access.
If you see a photo of your child that you did not agree to, call Lety right away.
Urgent emails
When a post is marked urgent, such as a closure, the portal also emails it to every adult who has urgent emails on, in that adult's language. Apart from your invitation and password emails, nothing else is sent.
Urgent emails start switched on. You can turn them off under My account, but we suggest leaving them on.
If your email address changes, call Lety so she can update it.
When access ends
When your child's enrollment ends, portal access ends the same day for every adult in the family.
Lety can also turn off one adult's access and keep the others, for example when a court order requires it.
Lety may turn off the access of anyone who breaks these rules.
If these rules change
The new version goes on this page with a new date, and Lety posts a notice in the portal.
