Activities and learning
Play is the work. These are the six things that fill a day here.
- Two languages, all day
- Songs, counting, stories and instructions happen in English and in Spanish. Nobody has to choose.
- Art and making
- Paint, clay, paper, glue and whatever the week brings. The work goes home, and some of it goes on the wall.
- Blocks and building
- Towers, ramps, roads, and the arguments that come with sharing them. Early engineering and early negotiation.
- Books and early literacy
- Reading before nap and reading at the end of the day, in whichever language the book is written in.
- Music and movement
- Dancing, clapping, rhythm instruments, and the songs children ask for over and over.
- Outdoor play, every day
- Morning and afternoon outside, weather permitting. Bikes, water, chalk, dirt.
Confirm which of these actually happen, and add anything missing. If a curriculum is followed by name, say which one. If school readiness is taught, say what that covers. One lead from the old site: it listed a music teacher on staff, which suggests music here is a taught session by a particular person rather than the general “dancing and rhythm instruments” written above. If that is still true, it is a real selling point and deserves its own paragraph saying who teaches it and how often.

These age ranges are a guess and must not go live unconfirmed. A small family daycare home and a large one are licensed for different numbers and ages. Confirm both.
